A certain Dr. Viladkar, Professor of Civil Engineering at Roorkee University, and his wife Sushma a biologist, had come over for Shri Nathji’s darshan – and were especially allowed inside His bedroom by Priya Nath. “Yahaan se jaane ko man naheen kartaa!“One does not feel like going from here!”This had, indeed, been the experience of many persons who came before Shri Nathji. As Shri Nathji would laughingly say:“Agar jaane ko man kare to aane kaa faayedaa hee kyaa huaa!“If one feels like going, then of what use coming?”There was Shri Nathji’s verse that described such a feeling on the part of a devotee:“Aarzooye deede jaanaa hamko laayi bazm men“It was the desire to see Thee that brought me to Thee,Such, indeed, is the intensity of a true devotee. As Shri Nathji would say:“There is a limit to everything – but there is no limit to devotion.”“Bhakti ki koyiIn the days that followed, Dr. Viladkar rose phenomenally in His career with Shri Nathji’s blessings and felt His presence all the time in life. “Whenever I am faced with a difficulty I cannot remove, I pray to Shri Nathji, and I can say with certainty that all my prayers are answered.On June 9, 1992, Tuesday, Shri Nathji was in an elated mood at the visit of Dr. Viladkar and his wife. Even as they left the room he said to them:“Param Pujya Priya Nathji kaa hameshaan saathh denaa!“Stand always by the side of Param Pujya Priya Nathji!”Indeed Shri Nathji had been saying these words with greater frequency over the years.
