I recollected Pitaji’s words on the last moments of Lord Buddha. Pitaji had told me that the Buddha had developed an acute stomach ailment after eating at the house of a devotee and was thereafter on his death-bed “A man came for Buddha’s darshan, but was sent away by his closest devotee, Anand, who was looking after him during his last hours. When Buddha found out, He was angry with Anand and said:‘Anand mujhe afsos hai tum kuchh naheen seekhe. Mujhe bataao, ke inn aadmion ke vaapas bhejne se kyaa main bach jaaoonga?‘Anand I am afraid you did not learn anything. Tell me, now that you have sent the visitors away, will I survive?’This, indeed, was the voice of Pitiji, and the reason for His vexation at the visitors being kept waiting.“So mat jaana“Ek“Give me a Limca and see how the output improves.”By 12:00 his output is only 200 cc and this worries me as it may mean taking a diuretic which we have not taken since May 1992.“Ye to kuchh naheen hai. Aaj kal sab ko bukhaar aaye huye hain. Ye kamzori to “All this is nothing. Everyone is down with a fever these days. This weakness is due to the antibiotics.”And saying this, He falls asleep. I had been complaining bitterly about these daily attacks – unconnected, pre-planned almost, hitting us again and again with such great ferocity, causing Pitaji such great suffering in the body. O Lord, please save me and help me.
