There is a moment of hilarity as a rat enters Shri Nathji’s bedroom, and Mangla has to be called inside to seek it out – but it cannot be found and has in all probability returned to the kitchen. Shri Nathji is alarmed about the rat and says that they should ensure that it was out of the bedroom otherswise He would not be able to sleep:“Iss choohe ko nikaal denaa chahiye varnaa neend naheen aayegi!”The Creator of all creatures, vegetation and matter, Shri Nathji, plays His dual role as always, and appears to be ‘afraid’ of a small creature of His own making – a rat!
