He records in his diary of Monday, February 17, 1992:“O Lord–a countless, countless, thanks for saving and protecting Thy Beautiful Body upon earth!”Priya Nath also records Babaji’s verse as often quoted by Shri Nathji:“To do good in the past,However Priya Nath could never agree with the first part of this quotation which went:“I am content with what Gid has given me as my share,Priya Nath could never be “content” with seeing Shri Nathji ill, nor with his own inability to look after him properly. Perhaps these words were meant for ordinary folk who did not have the nearness of God to the extent that Priya Nath had.
