The month of May 1993 came on a sad note. May 7, 1993 was Shri Nathji’s Divine Union Day. This day, on May 7, 1939, 54 years ago, Shri Nathji had been married to Savitri Deviji, later known as Mahamateshwari. Shri Nathji was 37 years old at the time and Mahamateshwari had been 23 years old. There had been an age difference of 14 years between the two. Shri Nathji was born on June 23, 1902, and Mahamateshwari on August 15, 1916.“Hamen aur Nath chahiyen, taake ye Ganga sansaar men baihti rahe.“I wish to see more Nath’s in the world so that this Ganges will continue to flow.”Alas, neither Pran Nath nor Priya Nath could fulfil the wish of Shri Nathji to see His grandchildren. Shri Nathji had frequently said to Priya Nath:“Daadon ko poton se bahut pyaar hotaa hai! Babaji, jinhonen kabhi kissee ko apni godi men naheen bitthaaya thhaa, Pranji ko godi men bitthaa kar khelaa karte thhe“Grandfathers have great love for their grandchildren. Shri Babaji, who had never placed any child in his lap before, used to keep Pranji there and play with him.“Jab Pranji huye to Babaji ne saare Lahore shaihar men laddoo batvaaye.“When Pranji was born Shri Babaji had laddoo sweets distributed in the entire city of Labore.”“Ek din Pranji unki god men thhe aur peechhe ko hile, to Babaji girne lage, aur hans ke bole: ‘Pranji aap to mujh se bhee zyaada taakatvar ho gaye.’”“Once Pranji was in Shri Babaji’s lap and almost tipped Shri Babaji over. Shri Babaji laughingly said: ‘Pranji you have become even more powerful than me!’”
This had Divine connotations.
“Rama ke anek bhakt thhe magar Lav Kush ka koyi naheen mukaabla kar saktaa. Pran Nathji aur Priya Nathji meraa“Rama had many devotees but no one could equal his sons Lav or Kush. Pran Nath and Priya Nathji are my DIRECT BLOOD!”“Ye har keemat se Babaji ke“They will spread the mission of Shri Babaji at every cost!”On May 7, 1939, one could recollect the splendid ‘“Hamaara koyi baaraati na-khush na jaaye!“None of my ‘baaraatis’ should go away dissatisfied!”There was Shri Babaji Bhagwan Himself in the “PRIYAJI, EK“Priyaji, a time comes when everything becomes a dream.”And here was Shri Nathji becoming part of the dream for Priya Nath.
