Shri Nathji loved the sound of the piano the most, and called it the king of all musical instruments, saying:“Iss men to hazaar baajon ki aawaazen aati hain!”“The sounds of a thousand musicalinstruments come from it!”The piano at New Delhi had initially been taken at a small rent of fifty rupees per month from Godin’s shop at Connaught Place in 1971, and when Priya Nath wished that they own it, Shri Nathji and he had gone to the shop, where the proprietor almost gave it away to them for the small sum of a thousand rupees–which was a miracle in itself!
