Shri Nathji had purchased the table lamp from an American teacher at Vincent Hill School, Mussoorie, in 1954, where Pran Nath and Priya Nath were studying at the time. The man was a certain Mr. Buck who had gone back to the United States, travelling to Europe in his V-8 Ford Car which resembled the V-8 Ford of Shri Nathji. Although it was 27 years since Mr. Buck had gone away, his lamp served Shri Nathji, throwing light upon humanity in the form of Shri Nathji’s ghazals.
