On the 25th of October 1983, New Delhi is rocked by a severe earthquake at 10: 45 p.m. “Itnaa barraa “Such a big earthquake hit the city, and in one minute everyone has forgetten all about it!” Shri Nathji recollects how he had told a Maharaja:“Phir to jhoolaa jhoolenge. “Then the jerks will be like swaying on a swing!”While on the topice of earthquakes, Shri Nathji would speak of the helpessness of man and say:“Main to kahoongaa ke aisaa bhoochaal roz aayaa kare jo Bhagwan ki yaad dilaaye!”“In that case, let me pray that such an earthquake come every day – for it reminds you of God!”
