Shri Nathji frequently narrated the story of Amire Kabul, the King-in-Exile of Afghanistan, who had met Shri Babaji Maharaj at Lahore. “Ask what you will of me. “You shall get it in the twinkling of an eyelash!”Amire Kabul had replied:“Huzoor naaraaz ho gaye?“Angry?” said Babaji, “on the contrary I have asked you to ask for anything you like!”And Amire Kabul had said:“Would thou cast me back into the smouldering fire of the world by restoring my kingdom to me? “Uss Darbaare aaliyaa men meraa naam vahaan ke jhaaroo bardaaron men likhaa jaaye!”
