Coming back to the events of September 1983, there are Shri Nathji and Priya Nath at Sarvodaya Enclave, with visitors pouring in and out, at all odd hours of the day and night, while Shri Nathji’s divine light shines out more brilliantly than ever before. Shri Nathji speaks for hours to the visitors that come to him, foregoing even his food and daily ablutions if necessary. It is a horrendous effort that only he is capable of at this age. “Main mukt hoon, or nitya mukt hoon, magar jab tak ek jeev bhee bandhan men hai main apni mukti kaa aanand naheen le saktaa! Main tab tak bandhan men rahoongaa jab tak ek jeev aatmaa bhee bandhan men hai!“I am immortal, and ever in salvation. But I cannot enjoy the bliss of my own salvation for as long as even one soul is in bondage. I shall remain in bondage until the last person is set free.”
