As Shri Nathji speaks to the devotees, the story of Mrs. Gangabai Bhutt’s conversion comes to his mind: “Agar to ye do netra hain to de deejiye, varnaa elaayicheeyen to pansaari ki dukaan par bhee mil jaa“If these are two eyes with which I can really see Thee, then give them to me, otherwise cardamoms can be had at any pansaari’s shop!”She took the cardamoms and went to her residence at Lahore. That night she had a vision in which she saw Shri Nathji revealed to her as God in each and every atom of the Universe. She saw him in every brick, every leaf, every tree, in everything that was around her. “Pad Ghungroo baandh Meera naachi re!”“Meera dances now with bells on her feet.”Shri Nathji also narrated how her husband had been a disbeliever at first, but was instantly converted the moment Shri Nathji embraced him, saying:“Bhutt Sahib, jo log mujh se nafrat karte hain main unn se see aur zyaadaa muhabbat kartaa hoon!“Bhutt Sahib, I have a great love for those who hate me!”The embrace carried a divine touch, which made Bhutt fall at the feet of Shri Nathji, so that he became a devotee of Shri Nathji along with his wife. It was a devotion that was to last till the end of their lives.
