The next scene shows Shri Nathji bare-headed–his hair a glistening silver grey, his face too beautiful to behold, his achkan a light brown colour and a red garland around his neck.“Gar husn naheen ishq bhee paidaa naheen hotaa “If there were no beauty there would be no love,When people were before Shri Nathji they forgot heaven and salvation altogether. How easy was their meditation, their eyes open and their souls merged in Shri Nathji. At such times who could think of closing his eyes and entering deep within his own self?“Nazzaare ko ye jumbishe mizgaan bhi bhaar hai“It is a burden, this twinkling of the eyelashes when beholding beauty,The Narcissus flower was shaped like an eye that was always open. The lover laments the twinkling of the eyelashes that shuts out the glorious image before him, and prays for eyes that are like the Narcissus, which never close.“Idhar aankhen khulen meri teraa deedaar ho jaaye,Let my eyes open here, and set eyes upon Thee,There is no doubt that Shri Nathji’s Divine Light is strongest when He is bareheaded, for no earthly garment covers His Head. The devotees stare unbelievingly and weep and cry with Divine Bliss. Most of them have their eyes on the ground as they cannot look up to behold his divine beauty after the first glimpse.
