To makes matters worse, a red boil, the size of a soya bean, appears on Shri Nathji’s tongue. Priya Nath is struck dumb with horror as he sees it. Medical literature said dreadful things about such boils and the pain and torment they could lead to. They could even portend cancer of the tongue. Priya Nath is disconsolate beyond measure and weeps bitterly, telling Shri Nathji:“Cure this by a miracle! I am living only for your sake. I cannot bear to see you in any suffering. I will die if anything happens to you. Promise me that you will get well. PromiseShri Nathji is taken by surprise, as he had not felt anything on the tongue. On seeing the agony of Priya Nath, Shri Nathji immediately re-assures him and says:“Thheek hee hai–thheek kyaa honaa hai. Kuchh hai hee naheen“Why worry about it being all right, when it is already so! It is nothing at all. Worrying will only weaken the health. There is no point in even thinking about something which does not even exist.”Just a few days ago on November 26, 1984, Shri Nathji had been singing a ghazal loudly in bed, which Priya Nath had recorded, and which was followed by a powerful lecture by Shri Nathji–all from his bed. “Priyaji! “Priyaji! Have you seen? It is not there! It has gone! Completely disappeared!”Priya Nath can hardly believe his ears and rushes to look at Shri Nathji’s tongue. The boil is gone!“It’s these medical books that cause these fears!”Priya Nath says;“Hamari to jaan nikal jaati hai aapko kuchh bhee takleef ho. Hamaari“I die every time you have to suffer anything. To save me from agony, you should never fall ill. No one in the whole world loves you as much as I do!”Priya Nath was saying this from the bottom of his heart. He knew that most of Shri Nathji’s devotees loved him for the Peace and Happiness he gave them; he also knew how little agony his devotees felt if Shri Nathji were ill. “Main bhee to aap hee ke liye jee rahaa hoon. Jab tak aap chaahoge main rahoongaa.“I, too am living for your sake. I shall remain in the world for as long as you want me to. No power on earth can take me away from you!”
Visitors keep coming for Shri Nathji’s darshan.”
