Shri Nathji entertains Sudha with the story of Shri Bhutt’s friend, a certain Shri Khas Kalam from Betul, who had come all the way to Lahore along with Shri Bhutt for Shri Nathji’s darshan, during the Christmas holidays in December 1944. “If only you would care for me as much as you cared for my bedroll, I would secure salvation!” And Shri Nathji had written back: “Khas Kalam, it was because I had cared for you in the first place, that I cared for your bedroll!”
