Shri Nathji’s walking becomes stronger and brisker than before. From 30 rounds he builds up to walking 50 rounds, then 75, and finally he reaches a 101 rounds much to the delight of Priya Nath. “Everything is all right! At one point Priya Nath becomes vexed with Shri Nathji for worrying about his future and that of Pran Nath, and says to Shri Nathji that he cannot even think of a future without him. “Priyai, agar aap naa hote to inn devotees ne to buraa haal karnaa thhaa! Kissee“Priyaji, if you had not been with me, these devotees would have thrown me into some Charitable Hospital!”It was a very sad and lamentable state of affairs that Shri Nathji was referring to. Most devotees came to him for the joy and bliss they derived from him, and the moment they were called upon to make any sacrifices–like even taking leave from their offices–they would disappear from the scene. Yes, they would certainly not have cared for Shri Nathji in the way that Priya Nath did, even though they genuinely regarded Shri Nathji as God.“Kaun hotaa hai hareefe mai mard afgane ishq,“‘Who is there who will dare to drink this cup of poison now?’Shri Nathji was referring to the unique status that Priya Nath had. While he suffered the pangs of sorrow and anguish at Shri Nathji’s illness, the devotees around him were merely concerned about him, but were not prepared for any sacrifice.“Naanak kotan men kayoo”“O Nanak, there is only one amongst millions!”Indeed genuine lovers of God were but few in the world.“Bhagwan kaa kaam rukaa huaa hai! Barraa afsos hotaa hai jo ek ek din aise nikal jaataa hai!”“The work of God is halted. I grieve at each day that passes by like this!”However, this was an understatement, because Shri Nathji was writing throughout the day even in his severe illness and meeting as many persons as he could, and speaking to them with great power.
