Shri Nathji also said that real happiness came from the contentment within and not from the external objects of the material world:
Tamaam duniyaa ki raahaton se khushi dilon ki kaheen barri hai
Main uske gulshan men aaj baithaa ussee ki boo se maihak rahaa hoon
Greater than the pleasures of the world is the happiness of the heart,
I sit in His garden today, taking joy in the fragrance that comes from Him
