As Shri Nathji’s association with Mussoorie continued to grow over the years, more and more people came to know of him.
During those days there was an Italian photographer in Mussoorie by the name of Julian Rust who was renowned for the exquisite portraits that he made of the Rajas and Maharajas as well as the British royalty.
The moment he saw Shri Nathji, he was so enchanted by the perfection of his features, the absolute majesty and nobility of his bearing, and the divine light upon his face, that he insisted that he be allowed to make a portrait of Shri Nathji.
