A vivid illustration of Shri Nathji having no wish of his own was seen when once he was walking with a group of devotees. When one of the devotees asked Shri Nathji to go to the left, Shri Nathji did so, and when another asked him to go to the right, he did so as well. No matter which path a devotee would point to, Shri Nathji would ever be willing to go along that path.
Someone asked him: Nathji! You are walking in accordance with the wishes of others. Don’t you have any wish of your own?
Shri Nathji replied: When I have made so many wishes mine, what need do I have for a separate wish of my own!
