Shri Devi Chand, the father of Shri Kewal Kishen, was a judge at Jullunder. He had been a worshipper of Lord Krishna. It had been said of him that he had seen Lord Krishna appear before him in his house. He had built a small temple in his house to commemorate the vision of the Lord. His meeting with Shri Nathji was to be a momentous one. The moment he set eyes upon Shri Nathji he recognised in him the form of Lord Krishna. He had two sons. The elder one was Shri Kewal Kishen, and the younger one was Shri Dwarka Nath, who had become a barrister after studying law in England.
