Said Shri Nathji:
If you want peace, come to me; if you want prosperity, come to me. The salary that I draw for my work is great. The salaries that various ministers and presidents draw are large because the work they do is that of maintaining peace. Every job entails the giving of peace in some way or the other. If I give peace on such a large scale, the salary that I must get must be large. I don’t need this salary. I distribute it to the people who come to me. My virtue goes out to them.
“A flower, that lives amongst thorns, contains within itself a fragrance that is meant for others. I have an infinite storehouse of wealth with me, deposited as my salary, for my service to the Universe.
“Anyone who comes to me with an open heart receives a part of my earnings from me. These earnings go out in the form of spiritual advancement and material prosperity. I am the Servant of the Earth–and therefore, my salary must be in keeping with my service!
The Laws of Nature work in an imperceptible form. Association with men of God brings peace and prosperity in its wake! To serve such beings is to serve God! The aura around them brings fulfilment.
Tammannaa aabroo ki hai to kar khidmat fakeeron ki
Ye vo gauhar hai jo miltaa naheen shaahon ke khazeenon men
It thou dost desire prosperity, then serve a man of God,
This is a diamond found not even in the treasures of Kings
Material Prosperity and Spiritual Peace do not contradict one another. It is the ideal synthesis of life.
“As an example, when there is happiness within you, your body takes on a healthy glow.
“The greater the spiritual advancement of the soul, the more does material prosperity follow in its wake!
“A spiritual peace within brings contentment. And a natural fruit of contentment is prosperity.
“Look at the ocean, it is calm and content within its shores, and yet all the rivers and streams flow down into it!
“Forget the past, it is gone. Do not think of the future, it has not come. Be content in the present, enjoy it, and think that it is the best you could wish for.
