Shri Nathji stayed at Seven Oaks Cottage at Naini Tal, where once again his nectar of life flooded all the denizens of the city who came to him.
June 23, 1942 was celebrated by Mateshwari at Naini Tal itself. She had the invitation cards printed and sent out to as many people all over India as she could. She was performing the perfect part of Shri Nathji’s partner, keeping in touch with all the near and dear devotees of Shri Nathji.
Shri Nathji never maintained registers of the thousands of people who met him. He recollected the addresses of only a few persons who were close to him and who corresponded with him frequently. This was part of Shri Nathji’s manushya leela–his human play upon earth, to reveal his real self in full depth to only a few. While multitudes accepted him as God, the ones who were fully attuned to him and shared in his human leela upon earth were the ones especially chosen by him.
Shri Nathji made every person in the world think that he especially loved him. This was not assumed love but rather a genuine feeling that poured forth from Shri Nathji towards every single person that he met in life. While great figures of the world were generally polite to the public, they did not deign to greet each and every person and to befriend him and to show special love for him. Only Shri Nathji was capable of doing this because it stemmed from his heart. No matter where he was or what he was doing, he would always shower his love on anyone who came to him.
