Later, Mateshwari and Shri Nathji took the children in gaily bedecked clothes to a photographer’s shop and had them photographed. Pran Nath was in a small zaree ki achkan and zari ki topi–a silver brocade jacket and cap–clothes that appeared to be made of glittering light itself, while Priya Nath was dressed like an infant eskimo in white furs. Shri Nathji and Mateshwari loved the portrait so much that they retained the picture for years to come and kept it with them wherever they went. The children looked astonishingly beautiful and sweet. Priya Nath was still an infant in arms, while Pran Nath was about two and a half years old. They were shown sitting side by side on a table-top. These were the children of God upon earth.
