It was also during this period from 1981-1992 that Shri Nathji imposed upon his gentle, delicate body the sins of the world in the form of life-threatening illnesses. Christ was crucified when he was about 30 years old. Shri Nathji bore the pain of constant crucifixion when he was 80-90 years of age.Christ was crucified for three hours, but I have endured the pain of crucifixion all my life.Main bhav saagar se paar karne naheen aayaa. Main bhav saagar ko hee samaapt karne aayaa hoon.God is defined as Sat-Chit-Anand, which means: Truth-Consciousness-Bliss. When people prayed to Him to remove their sorrows, He could not understand them, because He did not know what sorrow was. Therefore, in order to understand the sorrows of the world, God had to come down in human form and endure physical suffering so that he could remove these sorrows.The dead receive new life from me. I can cure myself in a moment, but it will be a sin for me to use my powers for myself. He has come again–in the form of Bhola Nath.I have allowed these illnesses to come upon my body. It will be a sin for me to cure myself with my Divine Power–though countless persons have received a new life from me.I am not living for my sake, but for your sake–for the sake of the world.O Mountains, come not in my way, or your ribs will be shattered and tattered away.I can go in my samaadhi–my eternal meditation–where this Universe does not exist, in a fraction of a second. I am living in this world only for your sake.This body of mine is not a material body–it has been born out of your devotion. Death has no claim over me. It is my own creation and can come to me only when I allow it to come:MAUT MERE SAAMNE KAAMPTI HAI.I am not like that child who cries when his clothes are put on or removed, I am like that grown-up person who can put on or remove his clothes whenever he wants to.
