One night there was a knocking on Shri Nathji’s door. Mr. and Mrs. Chabowski stood outside, their faces aglow with a strange and powerful light.
Shri Nathji,” said Mr. Chabowski, “excuse us for disturbing you at this hour. But my wife has had a strange vision.
“You appeared before her and reached out your hand to the skies. And the next moment you had brought the stars down for her.  You gave her this gift of radiant light and she began to shine with incredible brilliance.
“The vision filled us with inexpressible happiness. It exists with us even now. Hence the reason for this visit! I did not see such a vision myself, but I am grateful I have shared the fruits of my wife’s experience with her!
And Shri Nathji said:
Let me congratulate you. The significance of this vision is that Heaven has showered its blessings upon your wife! She is your better half, and naturally this experience came to her first!
Mr. and Mrs. Chabowski met Shri Nathji a few days later, looking sad. And Mr. Chabowski said:
Your Holiness, you will be returning to India soon. Who, then, will bring the stars from the sky for my wife?
And Shri Nathji said:
Mr. Chabowski, which is further away–India or the sky?
Quite naturally, the sky, he replied.
If my hands can reach the skies, surely they can reach you when I am in India as well! said Shri Nathji.
Both, the husband and wife, began to serve Shri Nathji with their own hands. Whenever Shri Nathji would speak to them, they would forget themselves completely. Their growing devotion produced pangs of envy in Mr. Karai, who would frequently chide them for tiring out Shri Nathji.
Once Mrs. Chabowski spotted Shri Nathji’s turban, unwound. Your Holiness, she said, how long is the cloth?
Seven yards, said Shri Nathji.
Seven yards! Your Holiness, how do you manage!” She was surprised. She had probably thought the turban was some kind of a cap.
Shri Nathji said:
If a person can manage to still the long chain of thoughts in his mind, to grasp them and annihilate them altogether, it should not be difficult for him to wrap a seven yard turban around his head.
Mr. and Mrs. Chabowski had already turned vegetarian from association with Pran Nath. They would not eat their food until Shri Nathji had eaten his. They would wash and iron his clothes.
