Once Shri Nathji said humorously to Maharaja Sarila:
“Maharaja Sahib! When you came into this world did you come and create this State yourself or was it there already?
“Jab aap iss duniyaan men aaye thhe to aapko ye riyaasat bani banaayi milee thhee yaa aapne aakar usse banaayaa thhaa?
“It was there already,” said the Maharaja.
“Phir aap usske Maharaja kaise ban gaye!” said Shri Nathji, “how, then, did you become its Maharaja-owner! Everything is given by God and therefore everything belongs to Him.”
