There was no persuasion and no effort made by any teacher to convert the boys to Christianity. Once the Bible teacher, Mr. Boikins, said to Priya Nath, who had been coming first in class:
“You know more about the Bible than even I do!’
As a matter of fact this was a universal feature of all the Christians schools at Mussoorie; no effort was made to convert the boys to Christianity, and all of them acknowledged the astonishing knowledge of Pran Nath and Priya Nath on the Bible.
