Shri Nathji had often said:
“If there is a wise man on each side, there is no conflict. If there is a wise man even on one side, there is no conflict. A conflict only arises when there is no wise man on either side.”
Shri Nathji would also add in a light vein:
“Do not be worried if you see your friend standing close to your enemy. If he is your real friend, he will not be won over by the enemy. And if he is won over, then your enemy is welcome to have such a friend! Aisaa dost dushman ko mubaarik!”
Then again, Shri Nathji would amuse the boys with sentences like:
“Dushman kaa dushman, dost,
Aur dushman kaa dost, dushman!
“The enemy of your enemy is your friend, Whilst the friend of your enemy is your enemy!”
It was astonishing how much of worldly wisdom Shri Nathji was endowed with, apart from his divine spiritual knowledge.
