And it was thus that the first ever Birthday of Shri Babaji Maharaj came to be celebrated at the house of the Kasera brothers at Hathras on the 21st of January 1949. The invitation card printed by Shri Gopal Printing Press at Hathras carried the handwriting of Shri Nathji even as he invited his close devotees himself.

In an invitation card Shri Nathji had written “Charan Dasji” with his own hands, such was his love for his devotees.
