Bhutt had sensed that Shri Nathji had been saddened at the departure of Shyam Lal and missed the presence of Shyam Lal as his personal attendant. Bhutt tried very hard to fill the gap by serving Shri Nathji as best as he could in the manner that Shyam Lal had done adding however:
“Ham kitnaa bhee kar len magar Shyam Lal naheen ban sakte. No matter how hard we try but we can never become like Shyam Lal.”
