Shri Nathji was willing to go to any amount of inconvenience for anyone in the world, without complaining. It was as if he had no will of his own.
There was a time in Mussoorie when he had been walking with a number of devotees. One of them asked Shri Nathji to go to the right, and Shri Nathji did as he said.
Another amongst them asked Shri Nathji to go to the left, and Shri Nathji did as he was asked. And yet a third asked him to go in another direction, and Shri Nathji agreed.
When someone asked him:
“Maharaj! You are agreeing to everything that everyone says. Don’t you have any will of your own?”
Shri Nathji replied: “When so many wills are mine, what need have I of a separate will of my own!”
