All of Shri Nathji’s programmes were made on the spur of the moment and people were left guessing where he was. Shri Nathji arrived at Allahabad so suddenly that no one knew he had come. There was no one to receive them at Allahabad Railway Station when Shri Nathji arrived in July 1958.“Bhutt Sahib! AapkoShri Bhutt was a judge of the Nagpur High Court and had no chance of any promotion. Chopra, who regarded Shri Nathji as God upon earth, had been addicted to material pleasures since long. He found that he could not freely indulge in eating meat and drinking wine in the presence of Shri Nathji, even though Shri Nathji never forbade anyone. Added to that was a further irritant, as Chopra’s tenants, the Vigs, Kapilas and Joshis, came for Shri Nathji’s darshan in his house. Chopra was on inimical terms with his tenants and the sight of them entering his drawing room for Shri Nathji’s darshan was the last straw.
