Priya Nath wished to call Shri Nathji to America but was handicapped for funds because his assistantship at the University was only sufficient for him to pay the fees. However, he was too proud to ask the multi-millionaire for anything. Instead he took a loan from one of his class fellows, Fergus E. Moore. Fergus had muscular dystrophy and had saved some money for any emergency that might arise from his medical condition.
