Shri Nathji shifted from Shadi Bhavan to Kahkashan Cottage in Mussoorie in the beginning of June 1947. The place was located on Spring Road beneath the Savoy Hotel. Priya Nath had fallen very ill in Shadi Bhavan, with double pneumonia and typhoid fever, and his condition had become quite serious.
