Shri Nathji remained in Mussoorie up to November 1946 and then went to Lahore in December 1946, where he stayed till March 1947. This was to be his last visit to the city of Lahore. While at Lahore, even as the multitudes thronged to him, he gave a speech over Lahore Radio. In the days that were to follow, the city was to be ravaged by terrible communal riots.
