On the 24th of June 1983 Priya Nath has arranged for a public lecture of Shri Nathji at Sapru House. Shri Nathji is 81 years old. Priya Nath has given out a picture of Shri Nathji taken in 1950 to the newspaper, the Indian Express and wonders whether Shri Nathji’s face at the age of 80 will look like the portrait of 1950. “Meraa aakhri saans bhee aapki khidmat men nikale!He also adds with great loudness:“No one can keep this body forever, and no power on earth can destroy the soul!”After the function, Shri Nathji returns home where he is seen in the midst of his devotees, engaged in a divine dance, to the music of his ghazal:“Navaa khush hai, sabaa khush hai, ke saaraa gulsitaan khush haiAt the asking of Priya Nath, the devotees in various parts of India give out a picture of Shri Nathji along with his blessings to various newspapers in the country. And thus lakhs and crores of people receive his darshan and blessings through the portrait.“Prabhuji pragat hone vaale hain!”Shri Nathji’s divine pronouncements continue:“I AM IMMORTAL! NO ONE CAN DESTROY ME! NO ONE CAN CREATE ME! DO NOT TRY TO DECEIVE GOD!”Shri R.P. Kapahi is sent to Mussoorie to look after the house there for a few days.
