There was a certain Madame Krull, an elderly Dutch lady working with the Tibetans, who became greatly devoted to Shri Nathji. She brought a French lady for Shri Nathji’s darshan, a certain Mrs. Marcuse who had come for the UNCTAD conference at New Delhi. She had many questions in her mind, but was astonished when Shri Nathji replied to them all, unasked. She was hard of hearing, and wished to draw her chair closer to Shri Nathji, and Shri Nathji said to her :“Mrs. Marcuse, you were hard of hearing and thus gained nearness of the Divine. If you could neither see nor feel the world around you, you would reach God.” Indeed when man forgot his “I”, he found himself face to face with God.
