After Priya Nath had finished his Senior Cambridge examination by the end of December 1956, Shri Nathji shifted down to the plains for the winter, choosing the solitude of Wheler Club at Meerut. At first there was no room available and Shri Nathji was accosted by a stranger, a certain Colonel Rai, who offered the hospitality of his home till the rooms at the Club became available. It was to give of His Divine Grace to the Colonel that Shri Nathji had enacted this leela, his divine drama.
