As the atmosphere at Dehra Dun was still uncongenial, Shri Nathji and Mateshwari, along with the children, went to Naini Tal instead, where they stayed in a rented place called Seven Oaks Cottage. Mateshwari celebrated the birthday of Shri Nathji on the 23rd of June at Naini Tal. Shri Nathji, even in his arm trouble, attended to his duties as a husband and a father and took his family on outings and picnics, even to far off places like Chenna Peak.
