Priya Nath had been greatly affected by Shri Nathji’s words in 1973 at Nagpur, where he had said:“Likh deejiye unhee ke naam jinke dil men ye ichhaa hai ke unke naam“Write down the names of those in history who have a desire for it. I have no desires within me. I have no need for the history of the world!”Priya Nath had resolved there and then that he would ensure that Shri Nathji’s name remain in the history of the world. It was with that intent that he had begun work on the biography of Shri Nathji, of which the small pamphlet was just a prelude.
