In the beginning of October 1987, Shri Nathji writes his second ghazal on his favourite home-town, Mussoorie, which shows His yearning to visit the Himalayan city once again:“Main jaa rahaa Mussoorie, ik kaam hai zarooree,“I am on my way to Mussoorie on an important task,Aaavaaz de rahaa hoon saare jahaan ko ab mainMy voice goes out to the entire world now,The last verse was:“Main kaih rahaa jahaan ko oonchaayiyon men aakar“I call out to the world from these heights here,Priya Nath puts the ghazal to music, using Pran Nath’s Casio instrument. It is, indeed, a very touching and melancholic ghazal. Perhaps Shri Nathji knew He would never be returning to Mussoorie again when He wrote this beautiful ghazal.“Piyaji kamaal ki tune banaayi hai!”
