Priya Nath had first met Dr. Harry Zeltzer at a party in 1964 when he was a student at Harvard University. Dr Zeltzer was an Optometrist and a friend of Dr. Herman Winick who was Priya Nath’s friend.“I have become an atheist ever since my father died. I had prayed to God to cure him, but my prayers were not heard. Nothing can bring back my faith in God now.”When Shri Nathji came to America to visit Priya Nath, Harry Zeltzer invited them to his home for dinner. He had not met Shri Nathji before. He and his wife, Lois, waited at the gate of their house to welcome Shri Nathji and Priya Nath.“Harry, I know you – but you do not know me!”A divine spark lit up the soul of Harry Zeltzer. Suddenly he found his faith in God returned to him. His wife was equally affected. Later he and his wife listened to Shri Nathji’s words in rapt attention in their house after dinner. They were so touched by him that, when he was leaving their home, they brought him to the bedroom of their children who were asleep inside and said to Shri Nathji:“Your Holiness, bless them.”At 2 a.m. in the dark hours of the early morning the next day, they distinctly and clearly heard Shri Nathji calling out to them from the garden of their house.“Priya, I feel that if there is any God your father is the only one who knows about him!”After Shri Nathji had left America, Dr. Zeltzer continued to correspond with him. Shri Nathji meticulously and painstaking typed out long articles with one finger of his left hand and mailed them to Harry. Harry was so touched by these letters that he circulated them to his friends. These were treasures that Harry always kept with him.
