Shri Nathji’s food pattern changes as cooks change. Chidanand has to go back to Manthani as one of his relatives has died. He has tears in his eyes as he takes leave of Shri Nathji. He promises to return after the last rites are over. Priya Nath wishes he does not return. He does not want anyone to cook for Shri Nathji whose relative has just died. As the turn of events would have it, Chidanand never gets a chance to return.
