At Shri Nathji’s bidding, Priya Nath bathes for the first time in 6 months. He had last had a bath on October 6, 1987. He had been afraid of spending a long time in the bathroom while Shri Nathji was ill. He had wanted to be with Shri Nathji 24 hours of the day to look after him. “Priyaji aap nahaa lo, mujhe kuchh naheen hotaa, main bilkul thheek hoon!“Aap naa bhee nahaayen – aap to Ganga roop hain!“Even if you don’t bathe, it does not matter, because you are as pure as the Ganges!”It was a miracle of Shri Nathji that there was not a speck of dirt on Priya Nath’s body, nor any itch or skin trouble, despite the fact that he did not bathe more months. He would dress up in good clothes only on birthday functions and of course on the World Prayer Days.“Priyaji shave zaroor kar leni chahiye. Shave karnaaa aadhe nahaane ke baraabar hotaa hai!“Priyaji, you must always shave. To shave is like taking half a bath. R.R. Khanna used to tell me that one must shave every day, it makes a person feel fresh!’”Shri Nathji himself was very punctilious about shaving and would invariably make this a part of his daily morning ablutions. He would shave meticulously just as if he were going to an office!“Tere kadmon ki koyi sevaa na mujh se ho saki“I could not serve thy holy feet in any way,
