There was disloyalty and disaffection amongst the home group of devotees as well as the servant, and Priya Nath was interacting with them most of the time. “Mo ko bhee aadat thhee ke mooh se kaih deti thhee logon ko, aur saare usske dushman ban jaate thhe! “Mo–Mateshwari–also had this habit of correcting devotees, as a consequence of which they would become inimical towards her!”Shri Nathji on the other hand never found fault with anyone and often said:“Main aapko aapse bhee zyaadaa pyaar kartaa hoon. Aapne to apni galtiyaan bhee nikaali hongee–magar kabhee maine aapki galti nikaali?”“I love you more than you love yourselves. You may have found fault with yourselves, but have I ever found fault with you?”There was the servant, Prem Singh, who, in October, itself, had shrieked out loud in the dead of night–and later said he had seen a ghost! Shri Nathji had always thought there was something evil about him, which was why his food never agreed with Shri Nathji. Shri Nathji had dreams in which he saw Prem Singh appear in a dreadful form. However, whenever He spoke to the servant, it was always with the greatest of love.“I know even of that thought which is yet to come to your mind. If I appeared as All-knowing before people, they would be afraid to come before me–because everyone has some evil thought lurking inside his brain at some time.”However, Shri Nathji’s dictum was:“If you think of a flower you will become like a flower but if you think of a thorn, it will go on pricking your heart all the time!”
