He writes a beautiful ghazal which Priya Nath puts to music, and which begins with the words:“Mukaabil ho naheen sakta…”“It cannot come that close…”With the Tamans gone, Mangla prepares tea and pakoras for Shri Nathji, which Shri Nathji praises no end. Priya Nath finds himself engrossed again in court work, preparing arguments in the rent case, which is looming large, threatening eviction at any time.
