The spiritual stories and parables that Shri Nathji told were so touching and so profound that they would send the listeners into raptures. Indeed, no one in the world could narrate and make up parables like Shri Nathji could. He was the Master Story Teller. An American had said to him when he was in America:“Your parables constitute the highest form of teaching!”Shri Nathji’s parable on life being like a ‘Musaafirkhaana’ had brought tears into the eyes of his audiences, which consisted of learned intellectuals, judges and lawyers. A thrill had run through the hearts of his listeners whenever Shri Nathji had concluded this parable with his words echoing across the halls: “Kaun kaihtaa hai ye Musaafirkhaana naheen hai jahaan itne aaye aur aakar chale gaye!“Who says this is not a tavern where so many have come and gone!”His parables in his books, especially Atma Vijaya, were so engrossing and so full of enlightenment that mankind would ever remain grateful to him for bringing home to them spiritual truths in a manner that was altogether so moving, and so convincing at the same time.“One plus one is equal to two. A Ph.D in mathematics would agree with this, as well as a child. Truth is that which is meant for all!”Priya Nath tells Shri Nathji to write out his parables, and also to complete his biography – which Shri Nathji had forgotten all about after March 1987, and appeared to have given up altogether.
