The first X-Ray had been taken at Batra Hospital at the end of December 1987. It had shown that the left lung had a fluid inside, which was presumed to be water by Dr. Bhatia. The doctor had prescribed the diuretic tablet, Biduret, which had now been taken by Shri Nathji for almost three weeks.
