Every morning Priya Nath kisses Shri Nathji’s feet which are covered with socks and are underneath his quilt, and later asks him to step on the weighing scale bare-footed. Sometimes, Shri Nathji’s sudden movement causes the weighing scale to shake and Shri Nathji has to make another attempt. Priya Nath places Shri Nathji’s feet in the proper place on the scale–and gets an opportunity to touch them, and also to examine them, for signs of Oedema.
