Shri Nathji is delighted to read his Urdu poem published in Dil Gariftaare Balaaye Dil gariftaare balaaye dame gesoo kab talakFor how long will this heart remain a captive of sorrow,Chashme baatin men nihaan ho baadaye vaihdat magar,For how long will this wine of oneness remain hidden in the eyes within,Dil men ye shoro fugaan hai kis liye paidaa kiyaWhy has the heart been filled with the cries of sorrow, Nath ko qaide tavaaham se ai Shaah aazaad kar, O Lord, release ‘Nath’ from this prison of ignorance,While Shri Nathji is lost in Bliss at the reading of the poem, Priya Nath carries out his worldly duties to protect the sacred land at Mussoorie and types out the plaint for the court in an endless effort. After he has finished the plaint, he shows it to Shri Nathji, who reads it carefully and then says, cheerfully:“Priyaji, kamaal kar diyaa“Priyaji you have performed a wonder–God bless you!”When Priya Nath sends the plaint to a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court for his approval, the advocate lauds Priya Nath’s effort, which goes to prove that Shri Nathji’s knowledge of law is excellent, too.“Priyaji mushkil kushaa hain! “Priyaji solves all problems!”However even this method fails, as, after a while, the rotis cool down and become hard, even while they are being eaten, and Shri Nathji has to give up on them.He says: ““To start with, they had suited me. It appeared as if new energy was being given by them. But later they became intolerable.”
