Shri Nathji made himself so freely available that people had forgotten the extent of His Greatness.“Lok aur Parlok de do to main mil jaaoongaa!”“My price is the worth of the two worlds–this world and the next!”And the devotee said:“Sirf Lok aur Parlok? He Bhagwan itnaa sastaa banke naa bik, kuchh apni keemat aur barrhaa!“Only this world and the next? O Lord don’t sell for such a low price–increase Thy worth more!”Shri Nathji had also told the parable of the man who was now 80 years old and who had been sitting beneath a tree all his life meditating upon God and praying to Him that he reveal Himself to him.“O Naarad! Thou art close to God. Please take my query to Him–when will He meet me?”Naarad said: “O Lord, that will mean lakhs and lakhs of years! The man will die of disappointment!”“Yes,” said the man, “I am so fortunate!Shri Nathji also wrote the feelings of a true devotee who said:“Main hazaar baar janam loon aur hazaar baar maroon, too beshak apnaa darshan naa de, magar darshan ki bhook to paidaa kar de!“O Lord let me be born a thousand times and die a thousand times– but if thou willst not grant me a glimpse of Thyself, then at least grant me the desire to get a glimpse of Thee!”Indeed, it was only after such an intense desire had come to man that he would become worthy of the Glimpse of God–a glimpse that Shri Nathji was giving people so easily and so freely.
